Chest tube: out!
Neck line: out!
Defib wires: out!
The only thing left is an IV in his foot, for PRNs and his Lasix.
The difference was immediate, once that chest tube was out. Suddenly, he was talking, cooing, kicking and reaching, and trying to eat his feet. He’s sound asleep, right now, in a morphine-induced coma. Between the dose for pulling the tube and the dose for pulling the line (which happened about 20 minutes apart).
