Waiting around… Not sure what will happen, today.
The nurse just stopped by to tell us they’re coming up to do another echo. I suppose the results of that will tell me whether or not I’ll be bringing the baby home.
At least the extra day is one more for him to strengthen and heal before he goes back to the real world.
He’s definitely bored and tired of looking at the same room day in and day out, though. Yesterday afternoon, he was very moody, and pretty much had a temper-tantrum. (And that’s unheard-of for him.) Eventually, we had the brilliant
idea to take him out in the stroller and walk around, and that was instantly effective. Yay, different stuff to look at!
I will be glad to get back to my own house, and my own stuff, and my own bed.
Olin, I’m sure, feels the same.
