Well, so much for diuresis. And going home. Olin is headed in to surgery for a pericardiocentesis and possible drain placement here in about 10 minutes. The actual procedure should only take about 15 minutes, but it will probably be a
couple of hours before the accompanying hooey is finished.
We’ll be here until at least Saturday or Sunday while he recovers from the second surgery. Luckily, Nazarene Well House happened to have a place open up again, so we got a room there. This time, with an attached bathroom. Thank goodness – one less thing to worry about.
Ugh, I’m tired. I’m waiting for anesthesia to come and take Olin down, and then I am going to go commandeer a couch. *snore*
